Kenship

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 July 2026

Kenship (“Kenship,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates kenship.ai, an AI-native professional networking service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1 Information we collect

Information from Google Sign-In. Kenship uses Sign in with Google to create and secure your account. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture, and your Google account identifier. We do not request or receive access to your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google service data — only the basic profile information listed here.

Information you provide. Your Kenship @handle and any profile details you add, and the content of connection requests and messages you send through Kenship.

Information collected automatically. When you use Kenship, we automatically record technical information in our server logs, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, and timestamps. We also record product-analytics events describing how you interact with the service — for example, when you sign in, send or accept a connection request, or send or receive an ask. We use this information to operate, secure, understand, and improve the service.

2 How we use information

We use your information to: create, authenticate, and secure your account; operate the Kenship service, including routing connection requests and messages between you and the people you connect with; communicate with you about your account and the service; and detect, prevent, and address abuse or security issues.

3 How we share information

With other users. Kenship is a networking service. Your @handle, name, and profile picture are visible to other Kenship users, and the content you send — such as connection requests and messages — is shared with the recipients you direct it to.

With service providers. We use third-party providers to host our infrastructure, send email on our behalf, and help us analyze usage. They process your information only to provide services to us and are bound to protect it.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kenship, our users, or others.

4 Google user data

The Google account information we access is used solely to authenticate you and operate your Kenship account. Kenship’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5 Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us at privacy@kenship.ai. We may retain limited information after deletion where necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain security, and in routine backups for a limited period.

6 Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7 Children

Kenship is a professional networking service intended for people aged 16 and older, and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a person under 16 has provided us information, contact us at privacy@kenship.ai.

8 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the revised version at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
